A major high-quality refurbishment of one of London’s most famous auction houses was completed in less than six months alongside our partner Coniston Ltd.
We were privileged to be awarded the contract for the construction of all new walls and ceilings at this prestigious auction house. Areas included Front Entrance Lobby, Reception, Restaurant and several galleries, Packing area, Basement areas, Directors/Disabled/Ladies and Gentlemen’s Bathrooms.
A high-quality, robust finish was required on all walls, constructed of 25mm WBP ply, 2 layers of 12mm Fermacell board and finish thereto.
Some ceiling areas were either MF, plasterboard and set, but the majority were of GRG. The ceilings were made up of lighting troughs, domes, barrelled ceilings, cornices and mouldings within the rooflight area above the North Staircase. Furthermore new GRG columns were also supplied and installed by us.
The high-quality of finish we achieved was very much appreciated by the client.
